Making a costume for multiple people

Sewing costumes professionally taught me many skills that are not taught in the home sewing industry. One of the most important ones I learned was to use larger seam allowances in key locations. This allows the costume to be used by multiple performers without the cost of making a new one.

Have you ever been working on a project but did not have the supplies you needed to complete it or your budget was limited? I have many suggestions on how to work around this.

If you are sewing costumes and need help on an area you don’t understand we can schedule a Private Lesson and I can walk you through the area you are stuck in.
